Homemade Cookiesare a tangible expression of Christion Love and an indication of God's concern for a group of people who seldom encounter either in the course of their daily lives. Your loving sacrifice will provide "Bread" that shines the Light of God's Grace into the darkest corners of the Hobby Unit. 

Each Lady in White, Each Corrections Officer and Staff Member receives a DOZEN COOKIES.

Cookies Preparation:

Types of cookies acceptable are: Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, Ginger and Sugar. 

Size of Cookies: between 2 inches and 2 1/2 inches in diameter & not more than 1/2 inch thick. 

NOicing, sugar, sprinkles or any other outside/top coating on cookie. 

Key Ingredient - Prayer
:  *individually, as a family or a group, over the ingredients before & during mixing; 
          *over the cookies as you drop them on the cookie sheet and bake them;
          *that each cookie brings each Lady in White, Warden, Chaplain, Correction Officer, and Staff Member closer to God. 
          *that God uses your cookies as a source of His love to shine on the Ladies In White and the Hobby Unit Staff during the Kairos weekend. 

Packing and Transportation
BAG thoroughly cooled cookies in quart-sized Ziplock Bags (without zippers) - 1 dozen per bag in even stacks (3 per stack/4 rows). 
LABEL each bag with cookie type. 
FREEZE all bags of cookies. 
PACK frozen cookie bags in strong, sturdy containers (with lid). 
MARK each container with number of cookies. 

Cookies can be delivered to St. John's Episcopal Church, 514 Carter Street, Marlin on or before DECEMBER 31, 2014.  If you cannot personally make the delivery, please contact
